First Astronomical use of Tri-Pod from Christmas [used it for birding earlier in the day]. Good, clear, dark sky. Even so, Saturn and Jupiter seeing wasn't that great. Venus was very bright so I skipped it [hate full Venus views - boring]. Saw M31 for the first time in a long while. Saw the beautiful double cluster: NCG889 & NCG864 next to Cassiapea. Also saw M42, the Great orion Nebula - great night for it: very bright!
